Legendario Aged White Rum is a Cuban rum made from a blend of aged rums matured for between 2 and 7 years in American bourbon barrels. After aging, the rum is filtered to remove the color, preserving a smooth and light profile, yet with an aromatic complexity unusual for a white rum. The addition of raisins macerated in rum brings a slightly sweet and silky character, very distinctive of the Legendario house.
On the nose, aromas of honey, vanilla, brown sugar, raisins, and delicate citrus and caramelized notes appear. On the palate, it is smooth, enveloping, and slightly sweet, with notes of honey, dried fruits, vanilla, citrus, and caramel. The finish leaves light earthy and tobacco hints, balanced by a pleasant honeyed sensation. Perfect served chilled, over ice, or as a base for premium cocktails.
