Ferreira Tawny is a fortified wine of great character from the prestigious Douro region, one of the oldest appellations of origin in the world. This Port is distinguished by its distinctive tawny style, which denotes an aging process in oak barrels for several years, giving it a reddish amber color with golden highlights and complex aromas of dried fruits, nuts, and subtle notes of caramel and sweet spices.
On the palate, it is a smooth and velvety wine, with a perfect balance between the natural sweetness of its 95 g/L of sugar and the refreshing acidity of tartaric acid. Its 19.5% alcohol content provides body and structure, making it ideal to enjoy as a digestif or paired with desserts featuring dried fruits, strong cheeses, or simply on its own, to savor its nuances.
