Tempo d’Angélus is a Bordeaux red wine crafted by Château Angélus as a more accessible and contemporary interpretation of its prestigious wines. Sourced from the Saint-Magne-de-Castillon area in the Libournais, it is made predominantly from Merlot with a small proportion of Cabernet Franc, aiming for a balanced, precise, and hedonistic profile. Vinified in stainless steel tanks to preserve the purity of the fruit, it offers a fresh and direct expression, without the need for long aging. On the nose, it stands out for its aromas of fresh red fruit, small berries, and cherry, accompanied by subtle notes of chocolate. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, with a velvety texture and a spicy structure that supports layers of black and red fruit. Its freshness and fruity character lead to a persistent finish, with light touches of cocoa and a saline edge that adds depth.
