Gustave Lorentz Riesling Réserve is a dry white wine from Alsace, made 100% from the Riesling variety. It displays a pale yellow color with greenish highlights and an expressive nose of fresh citrus, white flowers, green apple, and pronounced minerality. On the palate it is lively and refreshing, with balanced acidity, good structure, and a clean, dry finish. It is an elegant, versatile, food-friendly wine, with an estimated aging potential of 7 to 10 years.
It is made from grapes harvested by hand in October, whole-cluster pressed and settled for 12–24 hours. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with indigenous and selected yeasts, and the wine rests in tank for 5–6 months before bottling.
