Semi-sweet single-varietal Gewürztraminer wine from Alsace with a floral and spicy profile, fresh, elegant, complex, and with great aging potential.
The Gustave Lorentz Gew rztraminer Réserve semi-sweet wine is a white wine from Alsace, made 100% from the Gew rztraminer variety. It displays a pale golden color, with an intense floral nose, hints of roses, and aromas of peach and tropical fruits. On the palate, it starts warm, but its balanced acidity gives it remarkable length. It is a complex, rich and harmonious wine, elegant and very food-friendly thanks to its freshness, with a surprisingly drier finish.
It is made from grapes harvested by hand in October, whole-bunch pressed and settled for 12 24?hours the fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with indigenous and selected yeasts, and it rests for five months before bottling. It has an aging potential of between 5 and 7 years.
