A nose that is both floral and fruity, especially focused on red berries and white peach. On the palate, the fruit remains very present. An elegant, silky and delicious wine.
60% Grenache, 30% Cinsault and 10% Carignan
The wine-growing area surrounding Domaine de Pontfract is part of the AOP Côtes de Provence region, the largest appellation in Provence. Domaine de Pontfract rosé comes from an estate located a few kilometers from Brignoles. Owned by the same family for more than three centuries, this vineyard of approximately 20 hectares is situated on a sunny limestone and stony terroir. Made using the saignée method and modern temperature-controlled vinification, it is produced according to the specifications established by Vins Bréban. The wines produced in the region are mainly rosés. From the northern part of the appellation area, with its cool terroirs where the grapes ripen slowly, come the most popular Côtes de Provence appellation rosés, such as Domaine de Pontfract rosé.
