Primer Negre is a red wine made from Merlot, Tempranillo and Garnacha Tinta. Fruity and luscious, it combines aromatic intensity with a perfect balance between freshness and structure. Bright ruby in color, it is a versatile wine that is very pleasant to drink.
Primer Negre is a blend of 55% Merlot, 24.7% Tempranillo and 20.3% Garnacha Tinta, vinified separately to respect the personality of each variety.
The winemaking process includes a 2-day cold pre-fermentation maceration to enhance color and fruit extraction, followed by fermentative maceration with the skins for an additional 4–5 days. The final blend is then made, and the wine rests in tank until clarification and filtration before bottling.
In the glass, it shows an intense, bright ruby color. On the nose, it offers intense aromas of red and black fruits, accompanied by spicy nuances.
On the palate, it stands out for its balance between freshness and structure, with good volume and a smooth texture that makes it very pleasant. With 15% vol. and 4.7 g/L of residual sugars, it shows a slight luscious sensation, well integrated with its balanced acidity (5.9 g/L).
Ideal to pair with oily fish, meats, cured meats, stews, foie gras and creamy cheeses.
