Los Confines 2020 is a high-altitude Garnacha born from two historic vineyards located in Cebreros (slate soil, 1005 m) and San Bartolomé de Pinares (granitic soil, 1059 m), in the heart of the Sierra de Gredos. The combination of soils and altitude brings remarkable freshness and minerality. With very low yields, the wine is fermented in stainless steel and aged for 10 months in 500 L French oak barrels. On the nose, red fruits (cherry, pomegranate), licorice, scrubland, and orange peel stand out. On the palate, it is full-bodied and refined, with silky tannins, vibrant acidity, and a long, persistent finish. A complex, food-friendly wine.
