If Priorat is famous for its Garnacha, just imagine what it was like before phylloxera arrived! Els Escurçons is a tribute to that Priorat of old. It is a single-varietal wine that reflects a fighting spirit and a great passion for recovering the essence of Priorat. Fewer than 3,000 bottles are produced each year, making it a very special and sought-after wine. Inside each bottle, you find a wine that lives up to expectations: robust and rustic, yet also light. You can sense the care with which it is made, but also its ambition to be great.
Aged for 20 months (50% in barrel, 50% in amphora) and 14.5% alcohol.
What does it pair well with? Red meats, roasts, stews, game, and aged cheeses. A feast!
