Fardatxo Ice Vermouth is one of Dos Déus’ most distinctive and gastronomic creations. Inspired by the great European ice wines, this vermouth is made from late-harvest grapes that provide extraordinary aromatic concentration and an unusual natural richness within the world of vermouth.
Its name, Fardatxo, refers to the lizard typical of Priorat, a nod to the Mediterranean landscape, the sun, and the land that inspire its character. Made with no added sugars, its sweetness comes exclusively from the grapes themselves, offering a luscious yet elegant texture that is perfectly balanced.
The maceration of natural botanicals, with prominent notes of bay leaf and thyme, brings depth and aromatic complexity. On the nose, intense aromas of Muscat, mango, quince, honey, and white flowers appear, accompanied by a delicate herbal background. On the palate, it is silky, fresh, and enveloping, balancing sweetness, acidity, and an elegant bitter finish.
A different, contemporary, and versatile vermouth, ideal enjoyed well chilled, on its own or in cocktails, and perfect with foie gras, smoked salmon, strong cheeses, pâtés, or nuts.
