GlenAllachie 8 Year Old is an expression that reflects the intense, fruity character of this Speyside distillery, under the direction of master distiller Billy Walker. Added to the core range in 2022, it is the result of a careful selection of Pedro Ximénez, Oloroso, and virgin oak casks, which bring complexity and aromatic richness.
Crafted with long fermentations and without chill filtration or added colouring, it preserves all the purity and intensity of the spirit. On the nose, notes of ripe fruit stand out, with hints of raisins, dates, and honey, accompanied by spicy nuances and touches of chocolate and sweet wood.
On the palate, it is rich and enveloping, with a silky texture and a strong fruit presence, balanced by notes of caramel, spices, and a light toasted influence from the wood. The finish is long, warm, and lingering.
A whisky with plenty of personality, ideal both for those who want to discover GlenAllachie and for lovers of intense, expressive malts.
