Ledaig 10 Year Old is an exceptional, handcrafted single malt whisky, produced at the Tobermory distillery, renowned for its distinctive smoky style. This 10-year-old whisky is an intense and complex expression, notable for being made with malted barley and peat, with a level of 30–40 ppm (parts per million), which gives it its powerful character.
With an ABV of 46.3%, this whisky is not chill-filtered, thus preserving its natural oils and maintaining its completely natural color. This process guarantees a richer, more authentic experience, with greater depth of flavor and body.
On the nose, Ledaig 10 reveals a balanced combination of peat smoke, sea air, and salinity, accompanied by notes of citrus fruits and spices. On the palate, the flavor is intense, dominated by peaty smoke, with hints of pepper, toasted oak, and a gentle malty sweetness that adds complexity. The finish is long and persistent, with smoke and spices lingering through the final sip.
