Kraken Black Spiced Rum is one of the most recognizable spiced rums in the world, inspired by the legend of the Kraken, the mythical sea monster of the deep. Made from Caribbean rum from Trinidad and distilled from sugar cane molasses, it is aged for one to two years before being blended with a secret combination of 11 spices.
Its intense, dark profile stands out for notes of vanilla, cinnamon, clove, ginger, caramel, and light hints of toast and cocoa. On the palate it is enveloping, warm, and spicy, with a silky texture and a very approachable sweet character. The finish is persistent, dominated by sweet spices and touches of molasses.
Its iconic Victorian-inspired bottle, with side handles and a nautical aesthetic, reinforces the bold and legendary personality of this black spiced rum. Ideal for intense mixed drinks, especially with cola or ginger beer, although it can also be enjoyed over ice.
