Abrisa T is a mature, flavorful and expressive wine that revives old traditions such as skin maceration and aging the wine in clay amphorae.
At Bàrbara Forés they have revived the ancestral winemaking technique of Terra Alta: brisat wine or orange wine, which consists of making a white wine as if it were a red wine. The must ferments, through the action of indigenous yeasts, with the skins, pulp and seeds for 8 days in stainless steel tanks. After pressing, fermentation continues, now without the skins, for 20 days in a 750-liter ceramic jar. Afterwards, the wine undergoes aging on its lees for 6–8 months in the same jar. Bottled unclarified.
A powerful and original nose evoking very ripe white apple, white flowers and orange peel, pollen and wild herbs. On the palate it is broad and long, with endless nuances and an overall sensation of great purity. A finely grained texture reminds us of wines from times past. Its tannins are fine and its finish slightly bitter. A white wine with character and intensity.
