Visually, cherry red in color, clean, with violet hues. On the nose it is intense, with red forest fruits and vanilla characteristic of well-integrated oak. On the palate, it is a rounded wine with ripe tannins, expressing the aromas perceived in the olfactory phase, enhanced by balsamic nuances, silky.
100% Tempranillo.
Aged for 6 months in Bordeaux-style French oak barrels. The vineyards, totaling 60 hectares owned by the estate, are located in the municipalities of Peñafiel, Manzanillo and Olmos de Peñafiel, within the Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin. The vines are trained in bush and trellis systems. The soils are brown, clay-limestone, alluvial and calcareous, and lie at an altitude ranging from 750 to 920 meters above sea level. The climate of the area is Mediterranean-continental. The harvest is carried out by hand and vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, with maceration on the skins and slow pressing without pumping over.
