100% Albarinyo
Mar de Frades Albariño comes from selected vineyards in Val do Salnés, both estate-owned and from independent winegrowers, where environmentally respectful viticulture is practiced in keeping with the surroundings and the winegrowing culture of the D.O. Rías Baixas.
Hand-harvested in small crates with careful grape selection. Must maceration using the Ganimede method for 8–10 hours, allowing optimal aroma extraction and preservation of the saline character, while avoiding the use of sulfur derivatives. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts to preserve the aromatic character so typical of the area. Meticulous lees work to add volume and balance, and to increase the wine’s aging potential.
