This single-varietal Garnacha comes from vineyards planted in the 1990s at an altitude of 200 meters above sea level on limestone soils with a high clay content. Garnet in color, with aromatic notes of red fruit, vanilla, and herbs on the nose, El Veïnat is a light, subtle, and balanced wine, with silky tannins and a fresh, light palate.
For its production, the grapes are selected in the vineyard itself and, once at the winery, the destemmed grapes are transferred to stainless steel tanks where the first maceration and alcoholic fermentation take place, both processes at a controlled temperature. Malolactic fermentation and subsequent ageing are carried out in oak barrels, with the ageing lasting 6 months. After a light filtration, the wine is bottled. And the name? Veïnat is the group of people who live close to you, who help you when needed: your neighbors. With this name, the red wine El Veïnat from Viñedos Singulares seeks to pay a small but heartfelt tribute to all the people who helped bring this wine to life, to those who stand by your side through good times and bad, who love this land and its fruit.
