Portell Blanc de Trepat Brut is a singular cava made exclusively from Trepat grapes, sourced from a carefully selected group of estate-owned vineyards harvested at their optimum point of ripeness. It is produced from free-run juice obtained by bleeding off the must, avoiding contact with the skins to preserve its white character, and following the traditional method with 18 months of bottle ageing. It displays a bright pale yellow colour, with fine bubbles and good crown formation. On the nose, it stands out for a highly expressive aromatic profile, with a characteristic spicy touch of Trepat, accompanied by ripe loquats, stone fruit and refreshing citrus, along with subtle notes of nuts such as almond and hazelnut and hints of pastry. On the palate, it is fresh, creamy and structured, with lively, sustained acidity that brings balance and persistence, with well-integrated lees enhancing its complexity, standing out for its elegance and finesse.
