An intense and attractive ruby red Reserva. On the nose it is complex and elegant, with notes of ripe red fruits balanced with toasted aromas and hints of undergrowth, spices... On the palate it is flavorful and intense, with silky tannins that fill the palate and leave flavors of ripe fruit and elegant toasted notes
In the triangle formed by Villabuena, Samaniego, and Ábalos, we selected 40 hectares of bush-trained vineyards planted in 1970. These low-yielding vines of indigenous varieties are hand-harvested in 15 kg crates, and the must ferments in stainless steel tanks.
The wine is aged for 16 months in barrels, with 75% French oak (Darnajou, Taransaud, F. Freres, Radoux) and 25% American oak (Demptos, Murua). One third of the barrels are new, another third are second-year, and the final third are third-year, achieving a perfect integration of flavors.
