Dry Rioja red (tempranillo and viura), fresh, fluid and unoaked, with red fruit and mineral nuances, light and vibrant.

La Bicicleta Voladora is a wine from the DOCa Rioja made from tempranillo and viura from 25- to 55-year-old vineyards in the Sierra de Yerga (Alfaro and Aldeanueva del Ebro). It comes from traditional, organic and sustainable viticulture on stony clay-limestone soils. Manual harvesting with selection in the vineyard is followed by minimal-intervention winemaking: destemmed but not crushed grapes, low-temperature fermentation and 7 months of ageing in concrete, amphorae and Flextank eggs. It is a fresh and fluid red, with no oak, showing aromas of red fruit and floral and mineral notes. On the palate it is flavourful and balanced, with soft tannins, 13% vol. and a long, refreshing finish.
