Marqués de Riscal Reserva is one of Rioja’s great classics, made primarily from Tempranillo sourced from vineyards over 50 years old in Rioja Alavesa. Its aging of around 24 months in American oak barrels and one year in bottle gives it unmistakable elegance and complexity. It displays a deep ruby color with garnet highlights, aromas of ripe black fruit, spicy notes, and hints of vanilla and leather. On the palate, it is balanced, silky, and with polished tannins, leading to a long, persistent, and harmonious finish. A wine that combines tradition and modernity, perfect for pairing with red meats, stews, or aged cheeses.
