For the production of this wine, a selection of grapes is made from the highest-quality plots. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, followed by twelve months in American and French oak barrels. Then six months in bottle.
On the palate it is flavorful, with good structure and well balanced. Flavors of red fruit preserves and jam stand out, with toasted notes of café au lait cream and cocoa. Balanced aftertaste, with great volume and a long finish. Hints of ripe red fruit and very fine, pleasant tannins.
Pairs well with red meats, game, and aged cheeses.
