Marquis de Montesquiou VS is the youngest expression in the renewed Marquis de Montesquiou Armagnac range, now led by Alexander Stein, creator of Monkey 47. This elegant spirit is made from grapes sourced from the prestigious Bas-Armagnac and Ténarèze regions, and its minimum aging is one year, although the average age of the blend reaches three years.
Tasting notes
Nose: Fruity aromas of apple and apricot, with hints of caramel, vanilla, and pastry, complemented by a subtle nuance of flambéed banana.
Palate: Smooth and enveloping, with a silky texture that caresses the palate. Full-bodied and fresh, its fruity character stands out with a slight spicy touch of black pepper.
Finish: Vibrant and fresh, with a balance between woody and fruity notes, foreshadowing the more complex character it will develop with age.
A versatile and refined Armagnac, ideal for enjoying neat, on the rocks, or in sophisticated cocktails.
