Every year, countless events recognize the best wines of the moment. The Decanter World Wine Awards is without doubt one of the largest and most prestigious accolades in the world.
Spain manages to position itself as the world's second wine power in these awards, comfortably surpassing Italy.
The judging panel, made up of 280 of the world's top experts from 30 countries, tasted over 17,000 wines.
The list of Spanish wines that earned this achievement is:
- Lustau, Almacenista Antonio Caballero y Sobrinos, Amontillado, Jerez
- Lustau, 30 Years Old V.O.R.S, Oloroso, Jerez
- Bodegas y Viñedos de Cal Grau, Les Ones Samsó 2015, D.O. Priorat
- Bodegas Fillaboa, La Fillaboa 1898 2010, Albariño, D.O Rías Baixas
- Bodegas Valduero – Finca Azaya 2017, Castilla y León
- El Coto, Coto de Imaz, Gran Reserva 2012, Rioja
- Ramón do Casar, Nobre Treixadura 2017, Ribeiro

We're especially thrilled about the recognition for Gramona's cavas, as Celler Batlle achieved 98 points, while III Lustros earned 96 points.
