Nomad Reserve Triple Cask is a unique whisky that brings together Scottish character and the tradition of Jerez through a triple-aging process. It begins its maturation in Scotland for 6 years in American oak casks, then travels to Jerez, where it ages for 2 years in casks that previously held old Pedro Ximénez and a further 2 years in casks seasoned with 30-year-old Oloroso Matusalem VORS from González Byass.
This process lends exceptional complexity and depth, resulting in an intense and elegant whisky. On the nose, it combines malt with the vinous character of sherry, with notes of honey, wood, toasted nuances, nuts, coffee, and vanilla. On the palate, it is smooth and enveloping, with a velvety texture and great richness of nuance, highlighting oak, raisins, and the character of sherry, with hints of vanilla and honey and a deep, spicy background. The finish is long, persistent, and balanced, reflecting the fusion between Scotland and Jerez.
