This spirit, which we call both Marc and Orujo, is made by distilling pomace (the residue from pressing the grapes). In the grape skins, we find the aromas characteristic of each variety concentrated, and through distillation we obtain a spirit that preserves all this expressiveness. Marc Mascaró is aged in French oak casks to achieve a rounded, velvety finish.
